Tris runs from her mother while being chased by a Dauntless soldier. He raises his gun, ready to kill. The soldier is Will. Tris makes a decision, and shoots him in the head.
Okay Will was one of my favorite characters. And now Christina is going to be heartbroken and forever alone. :(

Tris finds where her family is hiding and goes in. Marcus is there, but Tris doesn't seem to register any rash feelings towards him. They know that the safest thing to do is to go to the Amity compound, but they first need to end the simulation.
Tris thinks back to what Jeanine said about the simulations. Then she realizes that it isn't being controlled from the Erudite compound, but from the control room of the Dauntless compound.

Deep, but you would think she would've realized this a long time ago.
I felt bad about Tris shooting Will as well, he was a good friend, but if it wasn't him, it wouldv'e been her. I wonder if Christina will even show up in the next book? or if she is still a captive to Jeanine.
