So the next morning Tris is just giddy and completely lovestruck over Four. Understandable. It's actually kind of funny to see her this way. For some reason though, when she goes to breakfast, Four won't even acknowledge her presence.
"Maybe he changed his mind about liking me. Maybe he thinks kissing me was a mistake." - Tris
Apparently in the first day of the fear landscapes, they will go through one of the leaders landscape instead of their own. Just to get a feel of how the program works I guess.
The initiates will go through Lauren's fear landscape. The fear that Tris gets is being kidnapped. Somehow though, Lauren's fear morphs into her own and the simulation turns into the night she was kidnapped by Al, Peter, and Drew.
"Lauren's fear transformed into one of my own." -Tris
She loses all logic and can't control herself. Somebody orders to stop the simulation and Four comes in asking her what the hell happened.
"Get yourself together. This is pathetic." - Four
Bad move Four, bad move. Tris just punches him in the face and tells him to shut up. Then she leaves.
See what I mean again about how this relationship develops in the strangest way?
