Chapter Ninteen

Tris walks into the dorms only to find Peter reading a newspaper written by the Erudite that is bashing the Abnegation.

"The mass exodus of the children of the Abnegation leaders cannot be ignored or attributed to coincidence. The recent transfer of Beatrice and Caleb Prior, the children of Andrew Prior, calls into question the soundness of Abnegation's values and teachings. Why else would the children of such an important man decide that the lifestyle he has set out for them is not an admirable one?" - Erudite Newspaper

Basically they are questioning having a government filled with "proselytizing tyrants". Tris almost looses it, but thankfully Will pulls her out. For being people that come from the faction that value honesty, the Candor initiates are very easily convinced into believing lies.

The gang heads to get tattoos and while passing the chasm they encounter a drunken Four. I'm not going into detail on this I'm just going to say that it seemed really out of place, confusing, and unnecessary. That's all I have to say about that. (Your welcome for the Forrest Gump reference.)
