Tris wakes up and finds herself in Four's apartment. Four tells her that he dropped Drew off at the infirmary, but Peter and Al fled the scene. Four wants to report them, but Tris says no. She doesn't want them to think she is scared.
"The others won't be jealous if you show some vulnerability. Even if it isn't real." - Four
I think in Tris's case this is some advice she should listen to. Peter has it out for her because she is the best one there. In order for her to not get killed, she needs to lay low for a while.
"It's more important for you to be safe than right, for the time being." - Four
Four just turned into Mr. Wisdom in this chapter. Doing this is really hard for me when I'm in similar situations. Sometimes the logical way to go is to just go along with things, rather than proving you are right, even if you are. My situations aren't necessarily an issue of safety though, but more of an issue of parental reprimands. You know, getting grounded, ha ha!
